St Peter's RC Primary School

Growing Through God's Gospel

Our St. Peter’s Catholic School Mission is that pupils, parents staff, governors and parish build together a learning community which develops love, concern for each other and forgiveness, by living out the Gospel. We aim to grow through God’s Gospel. Each half term we focus on a particular Gospel Value. These are; Love, Hope, Respect, Honesty, Forgiveness and Perseverance. Each child has the opportunity to reflect on the focus Gospel Value and create a Value leaf to be hung on our classroom Gospel Value trees.

Year 3 Tree of Love

The Year 3 class wrote how they can share the Love of God with everybody on the hearts that they hung from their Gospel tree, during the Remembrance period.

Year 6 Tree of Hope

The Year 6 class wrote how they can share the Hope of God with everybody on the anchors hanging from their Gospel tree, during the Advent period.

Our school family decorated a Christmas tree during the Advent period.

The school entrance and each classroom displayed an Advent wreath showing we were in a time of preparation.
