Further Information:
School Choir
Our School Choir is made up of a group of talented children from Year groups 4, 5 and 6. We come together as a group to sing and practice songs for performance. We like to take part and perform in assemblies on a regular basis and to sing with other schools in our local community. We are proud to be part of Greenwich Schools Music Association.

Music Provision
We at St Peter’s School are very proud to be able to hold extra-curricular music activities during the school week. We have specialist music instrumental teachers who hold lessons for guitar, woodwind and keyboard for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
We also have a specialist music instrumental teacher who holds Ukulele lessons for Years 1 and 2.

Prayer Group
Prayer Group are a group of children from Years 4, 5 and 6 who come together every Thursday morning from 8:30 – 8:55. We come together to prayer, reflect and think of ways to help and support our school and local community. We like to sing our praises to God and to help organise assemblies.
Extended PE Provision
At St. Peter’s we feel it is important for children to engage in extra-curricular activities. This is to ensure that the children are provided with the opportunity to learn and develop key skills that they can then implement within the classroom. These include the values of determination, resilience, team work and problem solving.
We offer a range of after school activities. These include:
- Gymnastics (Year 1 and 2)
- Football (Years 3,4 and 5)
- Multisports (Years 3, 4 and 5)
It is vital that children are encouraged to be as active as they can be, as this will then support them in the wider world.
In addition, we have a specialist PE Coach, Mr McGrath, who comes into school once a week to work with the children. He also team teaches with teachers to support their subject knowledge of the subject and provides them with the confidence to teach these key skills independently.
