St Peter's RC Primary School

School Journey

Our Year 6 children arrived safely at the Kingswood Centre in Kent, and settled into their rooms before lunch.

Wednesday:  After lunch everyone participated in an Archery session, as well as an Obstacle challenge, which was great fun for everyone.  After dinner, the children took part in Mini Olympics.  The weather stayed dry, and the children slept well, looking forward to the next day's activities.

Thursday:  After breakfast, children participated in skill and confidence building activities including shelter building and problem solving, working in small groups.  After lunch the children took part in a zip wire activity, which they thoroughly enjoyed.  After dinner, a disco was organised, making it a lovely end to a very busy day.

Friday:  All our children woke bright and early.  After breakfast everyone packed their belongings and tidied up their rooms.  They enjoyed orienteering and Aeroball, making the most of their last morning, before having lunch.

Everyone arrived back safely in school, having thoroughly enjoyed an active, happy few days in Ashford, and having learnt both practical skills as well as social skills, working as a team to achieve their goals.
