School Journey

Our Year 6 children arrived safely at the Kingswood Centre in Kent, and settled into their rooms before lunch.  

Wednesday:  After lunch everyone participated in an Archery session, as well as a zip wire activity, which they thoroughly enjoyed.  After dinner, a disco was organised, making it a lovely end to a busy day.

Thursday:  After breakfast, children participated in a Scavenger Hunt and Leap of Faith.  After lunch everyone participated in confidence building and problem solving activities, working in small groups.  Everyone had great fun despite the weather.  

Friday:  All our children woke bright and early.  After breakfast everyone packed their belongings and tidied up their dormitories, and made the most of their last morning, before having lunch. 

Everyone arrived back safely in school, having thoroughly enjoyed an active, happy few days in Ashford, and having learnt both practical skills as well as social skills, working as a team to achieve their goals.
